It's okay to toot your horn everyone once in a while, right? You've got to promote yourself if you want to have any chance of being successful, at least that's what I'm finding out.
One of the new features I will be adding is the Sunday Self Promotion. Each Sunday I will post links to some of the projects I've worked on over the last 7 days. If you get a chance check them out.
I invite any of you reading this to post links to some of your best work in the comments section below. If you comment with your links I'll do my best to check them all out. If I find something I really enjoyed reading I'll promote the heck out of it. I don't care if it's about aliens attacking the planet next week or how you spent your summer vacation. You can submit anything.
Like I said the other day: As writers we have to promote ourselves...if not we will get swallowed by the competition.
What's Katy Been Working On?
It was a huge week for NASCAR as the final race before the series "playoffs" began. Yeah, all these links are about NASCAR and most focus on one driver. I'm not being biased it's my job to focus on him...at least for the most part.
- NASCAR Sprint Cup Richmond, VA - 5th place finish not enough for Kyle Busch
- Richmond holds key to Busch and Vickers season
- NASCAR Nationwide Series Richmond, VA - 3rd place finish doesn't satisfy Kyle Busch
- Kyle Busch remarks on 2009 season
- Your Driver Didn't Make the Chase? What now?

Just checking to see if this is working.
Hi Katy,
Remember, We all should promote ourself in as many
ways as we can, acording to what we know.
You have a great layout, remember when you comment
on other people's sites it leaves you an inbound back link for help with Page Rank (and)your comment is see on google, because everything gets time stamped, just type in your blog(s)in the search box of the search engine and see what comes up some are delayed a few days.
Be sure to enter your blogs into many search engines that allow it.

Thanks for the opportunity Katy. I love your incentive and determination to improve your freelance business and your personal writing career. I love the new look for Trapped in the Office.
I want to welcome you as our first "Guru" for The Twitter Files, which your readers can visit at http://www.thetwitterfiles.com. I erroneously entered the wrong url into Entrecard so it might take a few days to get approved. It helps widen the reader audience.
I'm having fun as a freelance creative writer/blogger and at building a freelance network. http://www.themidnightwriter.net. I blog for Obama and will be posting a lot in the coming weeks.
I'm starting a new writing assignment at Examiner.com so that's exciting for me. I look forward to reading your blogs more often and to having you as The Twitter Files Guru.
