Goals October 26 - November 1st

Once again it's time to outline our goals for the week. Actually making a list of our goals seems to be working pretty good for us so far.

Just a few more notes on the goals.

  • Ryan has a bid in on Elance for 20 articles on the online game EVE. Bidding has closed and we are just waiting to hear from the buyer whether his bid has been accepted. Cross our fingers - Ryan will have to write these because I have no clue about the game...luckily he is an avid player
  • There are about 20 different projects I am hoping to bid on with Rent A Coder. Just waiting on the buyer to let me know how long the articles have to be before I bid on them.
  • Waiting to hear from my Get A Freelancer client about a possible project that he might have for us. If he wins the project (he is the middle man) and passes it on to us there is a chance we will be contracted to complete 500 articles over the next 5 months. This is the same client I am now writing the online gambling articles for. Just got an email (after I made this weeks goals graphic) that he has 11 more for me to complete in the next couple of days.
  • Oh and I have to find time to buy some Halloween candy and visit the Pumpkin House...So excited about living in a place that actually gets trick-or-treaters...Our old house never got them because the houses were so far apart.
  • Also considering buying a domain name. Anyone got any recommendations as to where to buy it from? I am new to this so if you have any suggestions or tips let me know.
Have a great week everyone! And check back with this post throughout the week to see our progress. ~K

Go Daddy seems to be pretty popular, they even sponsor a NASCAR driver! I'm still curious about when we're going to launch Gustave Publishing or Gustave Writers Group. Between the three of us, we could crank out some serious work for companies and bid on a LOT more jobs.

Hi Katy,
Would you be interested in a link swap with http://www.authorsbox.com
I have a new gift shop I'm trying to promote before the holidays and I need swaps with other good sites. Please let me know at chipanugget@juno.com
Thanks,
Carol

Actually since you are using blogger, buying your domain name through them was the cheapest I found. This is considering that I wanted the private listing so for my domain for Things That Are Me blog I bought through Blogger and it was $10.(For domain and Private listing) I just renewed the domain for The Work From Home Mother through Go Daddy and it cost me $19 for the same thing with the private listing.

I swear we're long lost blogging twins. I just went through the domain change and wrote a post on my blog right before I checked your blog. I found a special at GoDaddy for $2.12 for the first year. The coupon code is 199test. If you have questions, let me know.
